Ghost Echo

The EarthQuaker Devices Ghost Echo is a spring reverb pedal inspired by the standalone spring reverb units found on vintage amplifiers. Its hybrid analog/digital design recreates classic spring reverb while adding an adjustable 30–150 ms pre-delay, allowing sounds ranging from rockabilly-style slapback to spacious ambient textures. The Attack control adjusts the pre-delay time, Dwell sets the decay length and can enter self-oscillation at high settings, with the oscillation pitch controlled by the Attack knob, and Depth controls the wet/dry mix while providing output boost beyond unity gain. The Ghost Echo features true bypass with relay-based switching, requires power for audio to pass, draws 86 mA, and operates from a standard 9V DC center-negative power supply.
