Hizumitas

The EarthQuaker Devices Hizumitas is a high-gain distortion/fuzz pedal developed in collaboration with Wata of Boris as a faithful recreation of her original Elk BM Sustainar. It delivers heavy saturation, long sustain, pronounced low end, and a gritty character while maintaining clarity and note definition. The Volume control adjusts the output level, Sustain sets the amount of distortion and sustain, and the Tone control provides broad tonal shaping by boosting treble when turned counterclockwise or bass when turned clockwise. The pedal responds well to different pickups and playing dynamics, offering a wide range of textures from articulate chords to powerful lead tones, with ample output available for driving amplifiers or other pedals.
