The Noise

The Caline CP-39 The Noise is a noise gate designed to reduce hum, buzz, and unwanted noise in a pedal chain, particularly when using high-gain distortion. The Sensitivity control sets the signal level at which the gate activates; higher settings require a stronger input signal to keep the gate open. A two-position switch selects the gate response, providing either a more aggressive, steep volume cut or a softer, more gradual reduction. The CP-39 features true bypass, a 1 MΩ input impedance, 1 kΩ output impedance, and an aluminum-alloy enclosure. It operates from a standard 9V DC center-negative power supply.
