EP Booster

The Xotic EP Booster is a compact clean boost inspired by the preamp section of the Echoplex EP-3, a circuit famously used by players such as Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen, and Eric Johnson. Using a discrete FET design, it delivers up to +20 dB of clean boost while adding subtle warmth, sparkle, and harmonic richness. Internal DIP switches provide three voicing options, allowing adjustments to the boost frequency and EQ response to better match different guitars and amplifiers. The pedal features true bypass, can be powered by a 9V battery or DC supply, and is also compatible with higher-voltage operation using a voltage doubler for increased headroom and dynamic range.
