Albert

The Sentimental Bob Electronics Albert is an overdrive pedal inspired by the Fulltone OCD circuit, with additional clipping, voicing, and boost options. It features selectable MOSFET and germanium clipping modes, allowing different overdrive textures and compression characteristics. A Standard/Fat switch changes the overall voicing, while a dedicated boost section provides additional gain or volume when needed. The pedal uses an OP275 op-amp and includes an internal voltage converter that raises the supply from 9V to 18V, increasing headroom and dynamic response. Additional features include soft-touch footswitches, momentary operation for both bypass and boost functions, and relay-based true bypass switching.
