Chug Lite

The CHUG Lite is a high-gain distortion pedal derived from the original CHUG, but revoiced for use in front of an amplifier rather than as a standalone preamp. It retains the high-gain character of the original while focusing on traditional distortion pedal operation. In addition to extensive gain, the pedal features an active midrange section with separate Frequency and Middle controls, allowing the center frequency to be adjusted from 160 Hz to 2.6 kHz and then boosted or cut to shape the overall voicing. Bass, Treble, and Output controls provide further tone shaping and level adjustment. The CHUG Lite is housed in a compact metal enclosure while maintaining the flexibility and aggressive voicing of the original design.
