Ivan Mazepa 2

The Ivan Mazepa 2 is a compact hybrid silicon/germanium fuzz based on the fuzz section of the rare Soviet Poltava Fuzz-Wah. Unlike classic Western fuzz designs such as the Fuzz Face, Tone Bender, or Fuzz-Tone, it uses NOS Soviet KT315B silicon and GT310B germanium transistors combined with modern low-noise components. Compared to the original Ivan Mazepa, version 2 fits a smaller 125B enclosure while expanding the available gain and bias ranges, allowing everything from smooth vintage fuzz to sputtering, gated, velcro-style textures. Level, Fuzz, Tone, and Bias controls shape the sound, while a Tone Stack switch selects between the original Poltava voicing and a heavier Big Muff-style EQ, making the pedal equally suited to guitar and bass. An internal trimmer adjusts the LED brightness.
