Gainster

The GIGAGAIN Gainster is a high-gain preamp/distortion pedal designed for modern high-gain guitar tones. It can be connected directly to an amplifier's FX Loop Return to function as a standalone preamp, or used in front of an amplifier as a conventional distortion pedal. A CH.1 / CH.2 switch selects between two independent high-gain voices: CH.1 delivers a smoother, richer tone suited to melodic playing, while CH.2 provides a tighter, more aggressive sound for heavy rhythm riffs. Gain, Tone, and Level controls allow the distortion, EQ, and output level to be adjusted to suit different amplifiers and playing styles. The pedal uses buffered bypass, includes a dedicated power switch that completely disconnects power to prevent battery drain, and operates from 9V DC or a 9V battery.
