GigaScreamer

The GIGAGAIN GIGASCREAMER is a Tube Screamer-style overdrive that recreates the classic TS808 and TS9 circuits, allowing instant switching between the two voicings. In addition to the traditional Drive, Tone, and Level controls, it features a BB (Bass Boost) switch that adds approximately +3 dB at 100 Hz for a fuller low end, and a Scoop switch that attenuates the midrange by about 12 dB at 750 Hz, producing a more modern, mid-scooped EQ response. The pedal can be used as a standalone overdrive or to push an amplifier's preamp for tighter, more saturated distortion. Its analog circuit uses a Japanese JRC4458D op-amp and hand-selected tantalum capacitors. The pedal uses buffered bypass, includes a dedicated power switch that completely disconnects power to prevent battery drain, and operates from 9V DC or a 9V battery.
