Afro Fuzz

The Dirty Boy Afro Fuzz is a hybrid fuzz loosely based on the classic Fuzz Face, combining a vintage germanium transistor sourced from 1960s Italian keyboards with a high-gain silicon transistor for increased output, sustain, and stability. Hand-built by Dirty Boy Pedals, it delivers warm, touch-sensitive fuzz that cleans up well with the guitar's volume while offering significantly more flexibility than a traditional Fuzz Face. Controls include Volume, Fuzz, and a six-position Frequency selector that reshapes the pedal's overall voicing, from thick, bass-heavy textures to brighter, more cutting sounds. Designed to pair especially well with Marshall Plexi and Vox amplifiers, the Afro Fuzz combines vintage-inspired character with expanded tonal versatility.
