Real McCoy Wahwah

The Behringer WAHWAH is an all-analog wah pedal designed around the voicing of the original Real McCoy wahs of the 1960s. Its circuit uses a halo-style inductor, a key component of the vintage design, to produce the characteristic vocal midrange response. A custom-tapered potentiometer is used to reproduce the smooth heel-to-toe sweep of the original pedals. The WAHWAH combines this vintage-inspired circuit with a more compact pedalboard-friendly enclosure and true bypass switching. It can be powered by a 9V battery or an external Behringer PSU-SB DC power supply.
