Classic 108 Fuzz

The MXR Classic 108 Fuzz delivers late-1960s and early-1970s fuzz tones using the same BC-108 silicon transistor-based circuit found in MXR’s Fuzz Face Distortion. It repackages that circuit in a more pedalboard-friendly MXR enclosure while adding modern features including true bypass, status LED, battery access and optional AC power. Its simple controls provide the characteristic thick, aggressive response associated with the silicon Fuzz Face. A dedicated Buffer switch addresses compatibility issues with wah pedals, eliminating the audible oscillation that can occur when certain wahs are placed before a Fuzz Face-style circuit.
