Santa Ana V2

The Fender Santa Ana V2 is a JFET-based Class-A overdrive running internally at 18V for increased headroom and touch-sensitive response. Its two selectable voices range from tight, natural overdrive (A) to thicker, smoother lead tones (B), with Drive and Tone controls shaping gain and treble response. A rear Tight switch reduces bass before the drive circuit for a more focused response. An independent active 3-band EQ provides Bass, Middle and Treble boost/cut and can be placed before or after the overdrive, changing how it interacts with the clipping stage. The Santa Ana V2 also provides selectable true or buffered bypass and supports both latching and momentary footswitch operation.
