The Empty Head Effects The External / Internal is an experimental vibrato/chorus pedal combining modulation, delay and gain-based effects. Its signal processing can produce chorus, doubling, drive, gated fuzz, ring modulation and slapback delay, ranging from subtle modulation to heavily degraded and noisy textures. Five controls provide Drive, Time Delay, LFO Speed, LFO Depth and Volume. A Green Channel switch activates gated fuzz, while Self Mod enables envelope modulation, allowing the input signal to dynamically influence the modulation. The pedal uses true bypass.
