Doom Screamer Overdrive

The Fuzzlord Effects Doom Screamer Overdrive is a modern take on the classic green mid-boost overdrive, adapted for heavier guitar and bass tones. Its circuit uses a low-noise, high-fidelity op-amp and is designed to retain low-end clarity while providing the characteristic midrange boost that helps the signal cut through a mix. Compared with traditional mid-boost designs, it offers increased headroom and an extended frequency response. Volume, Tone and Gain controls provide standard overdrive shaping, while a switch selects between symmetrical and asymmetrical clipping. The Doom Screamer can be used as a clean boost to push an amplifier or distortion pedal, or as an always-on low-gain overdrive providing a crunchy foundation for fuzz and distortion effects.
