Little Black Buffer

The JHS Pedals Little Black Buffer is an active signal buffer designed to preserve guitar tone through long cable runs and complex effects chains. It converts the instrument's high-impedance signal into a low-impedance output, helping prevent high-frequency loss and signal degradation caused by cable capacitance and multiple pedals. The buffer operates continuously without a footswitch or user-adjustable controls, making it suitable for installation underneath a pedalboard. Its compact, rugged enclosure features a black powder-coated finish. The unit operates from a standard 9V DC center-negative power supply, drawing approximately 19 mA, and supports signal levels up to +4 dBu before clipping.
