Dumble Silverface Overdrive Special

The British Pedal Company Dumble Overdrive Special is an amp-in-a-box overdrive and preamp pedal designed to reproduce the sound of the early Silverface version of the Dumble Overdrive Special amplifier. It delivers harmonically rich overdrive with pronounced sustain, dynamic response and an emphasis on low-mid frequencies. Compared with the Blackface version, the Silverface offers increased gain and a fuller low-midrange character. Four controls provide tonal adjustment: Gain determines the amount of overdrive, Volume sets output level, Tone shapes the overall frequency response, and Depth adjusts the low-midrange response and saturation. The pedal supports operation at 18V for increased headroom, allowing greater dynamic range and cleaner response at higher signal levels.
