QuarterMaster QMX-2

The TheGigRig QuarterMaster QMX-2 is a compact true-bypass loop switcher designed to manage effects pedals and signal routing on guitar pedalboards. It features two independent effects loops, each controlled by a dedicated footswitch, allowing individual pedals or entire effects chains to be engaged or bypassed without altering the signal path when inactive. The switcher uses TheGigRig's OptoKick optical footswitch technology and offers a selectable Flip/Flop mode, enabling switching between loops without stacking their effects. The loop returns can also function as instrument inputs, allowing quiet switching between guitars. Housed in a durable aluminum enclosure, the QMX-2 requires no programming or menu navigation. It includes an Evidence Audio ESP plug for grounding unused return connections and reducing unwanted noise when using a loop send for a tuner.
