VT Comp

The VT Comp is an optical compressor pedal designed for guitar, featuring circuitry inspired by studio rack compressors. Its optical gain-reduction system provides dynamic control ranging from subtle compression to pronounced limiting and sustain effects. The pedal is designed to preserve the instrument's tonal characteristics while improving note definition and maintaining consistent output levels. It supports both gentle compression for increased sustain and more aggressive settings that reduce dynamic range and emphasize quieter playing details. An automatic gain adjustment system helps compensate for changes in signal level during compression. The VT Comp combines studio-inspired optical compression with a compact pedal format.
