Plumes Jr MOSFET Mod

The EarthQuaker Devices Plumes Jr MOSFET Mod is a limited-edition overdrive pedal based on the original Plumes, housed in a smaller enclosure. It features three selectable clipping modes: symmetrical LED clipping for a crunchy, compressed, mid-focused drive; an unclipped op-amp mode for clean boosting and increased amplifier saturation; and a modified MOSFET clipping mode that replaces the original asymmetrical silicon clipping circuit. The MOSFET mode produces a harmonically rich, smooth overdrive with enhanced low frequencies and a dynamic response similar to a high-gain tube amplifier. Level, Gain and Tone controls provide adjustment of output volume, distortion intensity and frequency balance.
