Billy Sheehan Signature Drive

The EBS Billy Sheehan Ultimate Signature Drive is a bass overdrive pedal designed around parallel clean and distorted signal paths, allowing players to blend unaffected low-end with driven tones. Inspired by Billy Sheehan's multi-amp approach, it combines overdrive, compression, blending, and tone shaping in a single unit. Independent Clean Level and Drive Level controls adjust the balance between the two signal paths, while a built-in compressor helps maintain consistency and attack on the clean channel. A Phase Inverter switch can be used to correct phase issues and restore low-frequency response when blending signals. An additional Boost footswitch provides extra gain for solos or more aggressive drive sounds. The pedal includes separate effects loops for the clean and drive paths, enabling independent processing of each signal. A Hi/Lo Filter expands the range of the tone control, allowing different distortion voicings and frequency emphasis.
