Storkn Boks

The STÖRKN B0kš is a signature germanium fuzz developed with guitarist David Torn. Based on the company's Stonk Box, it expands on the classic Tone Bender MKI / Zonk Machine circuit family with additional low-end control and experimental feedback options. A Bass control lets users blend between the tighter low-frequency response of early Zonk-style circuits and the fuller bass response associated with the Tone Bender MKI, making it suitable for everything from classic fuzz tones to heavier, gated sounds. A dedicated feedback switch introduces self-oscillation, subharmonic textures, and synth-like effects for more experimental applications. The pedal uses 2N404 or 2N527 germanium transistors and features an automatic thermal-bias system that warms the transistors to maintain a consistent operating point across changing temperatures.
