The Disorder is an analog fuzz and filter pedal that combines a vintage transistor-based gated fuzz with an expressive analog filter section. Designed for aggressive and unconventional tones, it can produce everything from raw, sputtering fuzz sounds to dynamic filter sweeps and wah-like effects.
The filter section offers both low-pass and high-pass modes, allowing the frequency response to be shaped from deep, bass-heavy textures to sharp, cutting tones. An integrated envelope follower reacts to playing dynamics, creating automatic filter movements similar to an auto-wah effect.
The circuit is capable of substantial output levels, with enough low-end for bass applications and enough high-frequency presence for cutting guitar tones. Two CV patch points allow interaction with modular and control-voltage systems, expanding the pedal beyond traditional stompbox use.
