The Borderland

The Borderland is a digital ambient reverb pedal with an integrated LFO modulation section. Its reverb algorithm includes an adjustable low-pass filter, allowing sounds from smaller room reverbs to long, dark ambient spaces. The modulation section offers 8 LFO waveforms and 4 modulation modes: Tremolo, Chorus, Triple Octave Tremolo, and Octave Slide. The LFO speed can be set with the Velocity control or synchronized using tap tempo. Independent Effect and Clean controls adjust the wet/dry mix, while Ambiance sets the reverb decay and Brilliance controls the low-pass filter cutoff. A dedicated footswitch engages near-infinite sustain, allowing the reverb trails to build toward self-oscillation.
