DD-5 Digital Delay

Report incorrect information
The Boss DD-5 Digital Delay is a compact digital delay pedal capable of producing delay times from 1 ms to 2000 ms using a DSP-based design. It features 11 operating modes, including four delay ranges, a 2-second Hold mode for recording and looping short phrases, a Reverse delay mode, and four tap tempo modes with selectable note divisions when used with an optional external footswitch. Effect Level, Feedback, Delay Time, and Mode controls provide quick access to the available sounds. The DD-5 also offers stereo operation, allowing either ping-pong delays or separate dry and delayed outputs, making it suitable for stereo rigs. The pedal includes a dedicated tempo input for external tap tempo control and was one of Boss's first delays to combine long delay times, reverse delay, looping, and tap tempo functionality in a compact enclosure.
