The Boss HM-2W Heavy Metal is the Waza Craft reissue of the legendary HM-2, faithfully recreating the original analog circuit while adding modern refinements. Standard mode delivers the classic HM-2 sound with reduced noise, 3 dB higher maximum output, and the iconic Swedish death metal "chainsaw" tone when all controls are maxed. Custom mode expands on the original with higher gain, stronger fundamental guitar tone for increased attack, and enhanced bass and treble response for greater fullness and definition. The pedal also features a premium Waza Craft buffer for improved bypass signal quality while preserving the original HM-2 appearance and control layout.
