The BOSS MT-2W Metal Zone Waza Craft is a premium all-analog high-gain distortion pedal that builds on the original MT-2 design. Its dual-stage analog gain circuit delivers thick, saturated distortion with smooth sustain, while a powerful active three-band EQ features a semi-parametric mid control with up to ±15 dB of boost or cut on each band for detailed tone shaping. Standard mode refines the classic Metal Zone sound with improved clarity and lower noise, while Custom mode provides a wider frequency response, increased dynamics, and tighter low end for modern high-gain tones. The pedal also features a premium buffered bypass and is manufactured in Japan as part of the Waza Craft series.
