Magus Pro

The TC Electronic Magus Pro is an analog high-gain distortion pedal based on a slow-slew-rate circuit that recreates the behavior of the classic LM308 op-amp using modern components. Its Treble Filter control acts as an effective high-cut filter, allowing precise adjustment of the high-frequency response. A three-position mode switch provides distinct clipping options: Classic for punchy mids and a tight low end, Turbo for LED clipping with increased headroom, higher output, and lower saturation, and Fat for enhanced low frequencies and reshaped upper mids. The pedal delivers smooth distortion with long sustain and controlled harmonic feedback while minimizing harsh overtones. It features true bypass switching and a compact enclosure with top-mounted jacks and power input to save pedalboard space.
