OC-5 Octave

The BOSS OC-5 Octave is an octave pedal featuring two operating modes: Vintage, which faithfully recreates the classic monophonic sound of the original OC-2, and Poly, which provides polyphonic octave processing for chords. A new detection engine delivers accurate, natural tracking with no perceptible latency. The Range control limits the octave effect to lower notes or only the lowest note of a chord in Poly mode, while dedicated controls allow independent blending of the direct signal, -1 Octave, -2 Octave, and the new +1 Octave effect. A mode switch optimizes tracking for guitar or bass, and a dedicated Direct Out enables wet/dry signal routing.
