NS-2 Noise Suppressor

The BOSS NS-2 Noise Suppressor is a noise reduction pedal designed for electric guitar and bass. Its analog detection circuit reduces unwanted noise while preserving the natural dynamics, sustain, and response of the instrument. A dedicated send/return loop allows noisy effects such as overdrives and distortions to be isolated, enabling the NS-2 to monitor the clean input signal while removing noise generated by pedals in the loop. The Threshold control sets the level at which noise reduction begins, while Decay adjusts how quickly the signal fades to silence after dropping below the threshold for a more natural response. The pedal also includes a Mute mode for silent tuning or instrument changes,
