The MXR Script Dyna Comp Compressor is a vintage-style analog compressor based on the company's original 1976 Dyna Comp design. It features the rare CA3080 "metal can" integrated circuit, providing quieter operation, greater transparency, and an increased dynamic range compared to the original. The simple Output and Sensitivity controls adjust overall volume and compression ratio, making it easy to dial in anything from subtle dynamic control to sustained compression. Modern updates include an effect status LED and 9V DC power input, while retaining true hardwire bypass.
