Cali76 FET Compressor

The Origin Effects Cali76 FET Compressor is an analog FET compressor based on the legendary Urei 1176 studio compressor, bringing its ultra-fast response and studio-style controls to pedal format. It features dedicated Attack, Release, Ratio, Input, and Output controls, plus a DRY blend knob for parallel compression, allowing compressed and uncompressed signals to be mixed together. An improved sidechain is tuned to match the response of the original large-format Cali76, while a 10-LED gain reduction meter provides real-time visual feedback of compression. The pedal internally increases the supply voltage to 24V from a standard 9V DC input for increased headroom, making it suitable for guitars as well as line-level signals. It features a high-quality buffered bypass and is designed and built in England.
