1176 Studio Compressor

The UAFX 1176 Studio Compressor is a compressor pedal that emulates the classic 1176LN Limiting Amplifier. It provides Input, Output, Attack, Release, and Ratio controls, including the original "All Buttons In" compression mode. Three operating modes are available: Single for standard 1176 compression, Dual for a dual-compressor configuration inspired by the guitar sound on Black Dog, and Sustain for maximum sustain based on Lowell George's setup. The pedal offers switchable true or buffered bypass, an optional parallel compression mode, and an LED that changes color to indicate compression activity. Input level controls both gain and compression threshold, while higher settings can introduce harmonic saturation and distortion, faithfully reproducing the behavior of the original hardware.
