OD-2 Turbo OverDrive

The Boss OD-2 Turbo OverDrive is an overdrive pedal introduced as the successor to the Boss OD-1, combining its classic overdrive character with an additional Turbo mode for increased gain and stronger distortion. Standard Level, Tone, and Drive controls adjust output, EQ, and overdrive amount, while the Turbo On/Off switch selects between two distinct voices: Turbo Off delivers a smooth, traditional overdrive similar to the OD-1, while Turbo On provides a more powerful, distortion-like sound with enhanced sustain and natural feedback. The OD-2 uses Boss's FET electronic switching for quiet operation and can be powered by a 9V battery or a Boss ACA-series AC adapter. Japanese-made versions are particularly sought after by collectors.
